Angry and Sad!! :( progesterone at 3dpo?? Should it rise?*update: I ovulated!*

I was sooo sure I ovulated this month. I'm on my fifth round of clomid. Last cycle was my first cycle I ovulated. But this month I got a positive opk on cd18 and high soft cp with tons of ewcm. So when I went in for bw I was sure I would've achieved ovulation. But nope...my progesterone was 4.something (when I heard the 4 I kinda blanked out and went numb). But I didn't Lose all hope. I thought well maybe they drew it to soon. But my doctor said it shouldn't matter. Even with just getting my positive on cd18 that my cd21 bw should be accurate...so I didn't ovulate. I mentioned I had read that progesterone doesn't peak until 7 days after ovulation and that the most I could be would be 3 days after ovulation on day21...the most!!! They still say it doesnt matter. So I insist they do more bloodwork. They try talking me out of it but reluctantly agree. So I'm going in tomorrow for more bloodwork. I'm feeling confused, angry, sad, and a little desperate. I also made an appt for September to discuss other options with my doctor.

Well ladies...good news. I was right and the doc was wrong. Dpo does make a difference. My bw on cd24 was up to 9.something!!! I did ovulate!

I'm afraid to test though. Probably won't do a hpt early. Scared of a bfn.

Hi there
Certainly they were wrong. The progesterone peaks 7 days after ovulation. The best way to find out when that is to know your cm well and the last day you have fertile mucus is your peak pay. Then you count till 7.

You know they had even had the gall to tell me I need to not be getting my info off the Internet!!! How rude...and it turns out the Internet knows more than they do...
