Angry call from mat clinic

Ok, I said I was going, but I just couldn't keep this to myself. I just got a message from my maternity clinic saying that I missed an appointment last week and they will be charging me $50 and they need to see me immediately. I've been dealing with three different clinics, different doctors, so many appointments, I couldn't keep myself straight. I honestly think that they JUST received the paper work saying about the Trisomy 13 diagnosis. I bet they don't know that the baby has passed away!!

I'm so angry!!!!!

To top it off, when I called back, they were on lunch.

wow they charge you for missing an appointment thats bad enough. they should really have communicated a bit better with one another iam sorry your hvin to go through that xx

I hope when you do get to explaine that baby is gone, that they change their attitude a bit.

Thank you girls! I thought I was going to go crazy there!! I tried calling them back but they were on lunch, so I called the specialist we've been dealing with. She wasn't there either but I left a message about the call I got. They are at two different clinics, but I asked if she could help out a bit. I was gone for the afternoon and when I got back there was a very sad and sorry message from the first clinic appologising for the mix up and even asking me if I was ok. They explained that they had not recieved the latest charts with the final information on it.

That was a close call. I just knew that I'd get a call like that, I knew it. I've been dealing with so many different doctors and clinics, I just figured. At least they were quick to say sorry and I don't need to pay the money.
