I know, I know - I'm pathetic! I've just tried so hard for so long to get my paws on SOMETHING to get me pregnant that I don't want this to go wrong!

So, today's panic; What colour and shape is Clomid?! Mine says clomiphene Citrate and is a dark pink/orange round tablet, is that right?

Pass the Valium please!

Mine was a white circle.

I've never heard of a pink/orange one before.... Where did you get it from? If you don't have a prescription (which I don't recommend, but I'd rather you're safe if you insist on doing it with out one) I have a friend who got hers off of mymexmeds.com
You can get a prescription from your family doctor or OBGYN though. You don't need a fertility specialist. Not all insurances will cover it though. I got a 3 month supply that wasn't covered by my insurance and it was $100. Not too bad and definitely worth it.

Oh God no! I got it from my GP! I'd be far too scared to take anything I'd bought! Considering its from my GP, chances are its correct! I ve just been a paranoid mess since I started them, it's been such a struggle getting treatment, I just want to get it right. I know that's silly, I just feel like now my family and friends know I've started FD's that there is an immense amount of pressure on me. I want to make everyone happy so badly.

Sorry for the rambling!

Clomiphene Citrate is the actual name of the drug in generic form. Clomid is the brand name. Depending on the manufacturer of your prescription, different companies can put out different colored tablets. Mine were white, round, and about the size of my pinky fingernail.

I know the feeling lol. Well as long as you have a prescription for it you're fine. Best of luck! I recommend using preseed with it as clomid is known to dry CM.

Thank you and huge congrats on your pregnancy xxx

I took the same generic drug for clomid (clomiphene citrate) and it was a dark pink/ orange color and round in shape. Hope this helps your clomid panic! Lol!
