It just happened again, I was chatting on the phone & suddenly, with no warnings.. whoosh!!.. a big rush of fresh red blood & a biggish bright red clot comes out, (about the size/shape/consistency of half a raw chicken breast)
The blood was enough to entirely soak one of those big pads, thank god I was wearing one 'just in case'.
I've only ruined my pants this time, I manged to get the rest of my clothes off before the blood soaked in (luxury of this happening at home & not in the middle of asda!)
Not even a cramp first, it didn't hurt when it came out & I was hardly even bleeding before. So bizarre. I'm cramping afterwards, but nothing major.
I'm home alone, so I tried NHS direct, which was busy, so had the brainwave of calling the gyne ward who did my ERPC, & luckily spoke to the ward sister.
She asked for the whole story start to finish & seemed quite horrified by it.
She's booked me the first scan slot for monday morning
She said if the bleeding continues or I feel dizzy/ill over the weekend, to ring them on the ward first so they can prepare for me & then come right to A&E/call an ambulance.
She also said none of this is normal, not even the 23 days of bleeding ater the ERPC was normal. I should have bled for a week or two and thats it!!
I can't belive someone has actually listened to me!
I have renewed hope, I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere
