but just wanted to know if anyone else is demand feeding their LO??...and roughly how often and how much do they have??

Sophie has always been demand fed and is usually hungry every 3-4 hours. Now she is 5 months old she is taking 7ozs, but as far as I can remember she took about 4oz (120ml) when she was a newborn.

my lil one is a bit of a fatty at the mo and she has just gone up to 5oz bottles every 3 hours and shes only 3 weeks old

i didnt demand feed at first otherwise he never would of got fed, he would of rather slept! Anyway, we had to try and feed him every 3hrs. Eventually when he got the hang of feeding he stuck with the 3hrs, he now has 5x 5oz bottles a day. Hes never been a big milk drinker! X

We demand feed as LO took along time to get back to birth weight. Some tumes it means she goes three hrs without food and the drinks 5 oz, or more commonly takes about 3 oz every two hours. She is a slooooow eater!

We demnad feed and Hope has 6-7oz every 4 hours ish!! At night she normall has 2 bottles close together then goes 7-8 hours till her next feed!!

In the hospital i had to wake him every 3 hours as his sugar level was low, but once we came home it was a completely different story, he fed like a horse! (i mean that in a nice way of course! lol) so he was demand fed after 2 days
