Another teat size Q.

My lo has been taking ages to empty her bottle and has been falling asleep halfway through. I was thinking this is probably cos shes having to work hard and getting frustrated due to the newborn teats on her bottle. I've kept the newborn teats on there cos she gets in such a mess dribbling everywhere, I thought she wasnt ready to upgrade. However, yesterday I thought id give the 1month+ teats a try, it did speed up the time it took her to finish her feed but she was still very messy. Not sure what to do, surely she cant stay on the newborn teats forever? xx

Which bottles r u using? u can give vary flow teats a try, the flow depends on ur LO's sucking when using them so less drippling. xx

Im using Avent anti colic bottles. She seems to suck really hard. xx

it takes them a few days to get use to the new flow rate so you may have dribbly feeds at first but if your little one becomes more windy or un-settled switch them back to the 1st teats for another week and try again, took me a few weeks to move my little girl to the next size!! xx
