Another wisdom tooth question

Ok so I posted a thread a while back about the pain I've been going through with my bottom left wisdom tooth that's been growing since 2009 and has barely even come through...
Well that pain was nothing compared to what I've been going through since yesterday! I woke up on Saturday at 4am in extreme pain it was so bad that it work me up, earache, pain whilst swallowing and headache on that side, I cried in pain

Anyways I've looked up my symptoms online and it seems that it may be impacted and probably has no space or pushing against my other tooth it also said I may need it removed and I'm so scared but I just want this pain to go away at once. My gum on that side looks sore and has a flap now, what do you think it is and how bad is it to get it removed?

I just don't get why I have to go through this much pain for something that started in 2009, I will be definitely booking an appointment with the dentist this time just would like some experiences on this matter please x

I had my bottom wisdom teeth removed a couple years ago. I was put under anaesthetic and didn't feel a thing! The recovery was not bad at all either, I even went to a movie that night!
I do have a little flap of skin right beside both my back molars, but if Im remembering correctly I had that before my wisdom teeth got removed. The flaps don't bother me at all!

I would just get it removed hun it wont be no where near as.bad as the pain your in now and then the pain will go. X

I would ask the dentist to remove it as it's been going on so long. I'm having the same problem but the dentist keeps fobbing me off with antibiotics saying that I have to have three courses of them before they can refer me. It's incredibly annoying when this has been going on years for me and they're not listening.

Back from there dentist and turns out it was an infection and I've been prescribed some antibiotics and some anti bacterial gel, I'm still in excruciating pain and was up all night in tears so I'm hoping I start to feel better by this week.

I've had x rays done just to see if there are any further problems for them to be removed x

Hope the antibiotics work. I was on metronidazole antibiotics for mine. I hope your wisdom tooth pain goes soon, it's awful isn't it
