anovulatory cycles?

I just wondered if you have an annovulatory cycle does your period normally come at the same time or does this delay things?

In my case AF arrives same time etc, nothing changes, its just that some months I dont release the egg.

Do you use OPKs? do they normally predict one surge that simply doesn't result in ovulation or is there no surge at all.

I've been having major problems with OPKs this cycle as you can see by my chart (clear blue digi OPKs so no mistaking them) but no ovulation yet!

I have PCOS and rarely ovulate anyway. But I find that after 40-45 days my body gives up waiting to ovulate and AF arrives so it could well delay things. But then again everyone is different xx

heya hun, my cycles are like clockwork and i ovulate 2 or 3 times a year. Never used OPK's so i can't offer any insight into that one.

hi

my periods are always v regular (29-30 days) but i had a super long cycle - almost 45 days - my GP said it was probably an anovulatory cycle

i guess its different for everyone
