Anti thrombin 3??

Hello all, just looking for any advice / experience....

My RPL consultant did tests and indicated my anti thrombin 3 level was low indicating a clotting problem.

I've just had a retest today for anti thrombin 3 to see if it's a problem second time round.

Has anyone had this problem - can't find much on dr.google

If the test is negative the second time, do we ignore the first result which was low, or would I still get some treatment? (I used baby aspirin on MC 3 which obviously didn't do enough!)

I don't know if I'm hopeful it's positive for the sake of having an 'answer' or worried that I've got a clotting issue which may affect me in the future........

Hi. Just came across your wpquestion n was wondering whether you ever found anything out. I m 5w5d pg n have had 3mmcs. Today my tests came back with low anti thrombin. My doc has no clue if the baby aspirin covers it (which I was already taking when I did the blood test) or if I need heparin. The hematologist has gone MIA n I m driving myself crazy. Did you get any feedback from your doc after all?

My repeat test came back negative so it was never mentioned again. Now I'm miscarrying again, can't find a reason why

Fingers crossed for you. I was under the impression you needed lovenox injections though....

Been tested for pretty much everything that my local gynae will test for. Still need karotyping but that's it

NKcells or uterine anomalies?????just asking as I had a septum n have high NKcells.

Consultant wants to do a lap and dye but doesn't think it'll show anything because I've already had my son.

After that I'm going to get NK cells test done, just in case.

Has your diagnosis helped you concieve? Are you on a treatment plan?

I had my son n daughter but still had a septum in there which cost me 3mcs. I resected it back in June after my 3rd mc so only time will tell. Re the NKcells I found out about it last Thursday so had the paternal leukocyte shots n if everything progresses well will have another one next Friday. I never had trouble conceiving but it's the keeping them part that's been difficult. Really hope you can get an answer soon, it just sucks not knowing why.
