has anyone else been having them?
because my dad says my mom was the same way when she was pregnant.
but i get really bad ones at night lately.
and it's awful, because i know that me being panicky isn't good for LO.

*EDIT:* so, i finally talked to my mom about it, as i have wound up sleeping on their couch 3 nights in a row now for the sole reason that my attacks lessen there
and we're getting my blood drawn today to see if it is because my thyroid levels are too high.
(i've been on medicine since before i was pregnant, but we recently increased my dosage)
so she says that if it is too high that could be whats cusing them to be so bad.
in which case it will aleast partially go away if we decrease.
i'm glad, because it really has been just awful..

Yes I do! It sucks because I get them at school so now I am on homebound schooling until LO is born. It really sucks I hate it:nope:

hell yes!!!
I just asked a friend of mine this same question a few days ago.
I sit here and read so many things about pregnancy and labor that one moment i'm very excited then i'll go to sleep and wake up the next day having an anxiety attack. This isn't going to stop until the baby is born (well atleast for me)

aw, :( i'm sorry to hear that.
i keep ending up waking up my parents a 2am in a frenzy. :(

Me too! it seems to be a tad worse now that i'm overdue... i'll just get overwhelmed and start getting upset, and the more upset i get, i get mad at myself for effecting my LO with my stress

:hugs:
I'm the same way. Sometimes pregnancy is just really stressful. Try to stay calm though, stress and anxiety can sometimes cause pre-term labor! If it gets too extreme, call your OB! I hope things work out! Plus we're all here for you to support you and help you! That's what BnB is for! :flower:

I had problems with panic attacks before I was pregnant & had cognitive behavioural therapy to help them, though they still do come back now & again.

At one point I didn't want to leave the house to go work & would even panic about going to the shops by myself, so I know how difficult it must be, espcially with all the added hormones of being pregnant too!

Maybe talk to your Dr, and they may refer you if they feel you need it. x

i have them all the time. i'm going to talk to my dr about it tomorrow. my mom says she was the same way with me and my brothers and she went into labor prematurely with all three of us. She's given me a bunch of meditation cds that she says helps her now. I've just been too busy to use them.

i really just need to calm down.

I was HORRIBLY bad before pregnant. stopped working, stopped driving, and would not go anywhere alone... now they have gotten better but the past few days ive been having them  they are really severe. I was on nerve pills to control them b4 pregnancy.
