Anxious feeling

I normally sleep fine.

But lately if I've got a night out planned or day out the night before all I want is a good nights sleep but I can't get to slept because I feel anxious about getting a good nights sleep

Anyone else suffer from this?

Any tips advice suggestions?
 
Yep happens to me all the time. What I do is lay in bed in the dark and do a guided meditation. In the meditative state I imagine myself walking up a set of stairs. Each stair relaxes a new body part starting with my feet. I get all relaxed then imagine going through a door and see a bed and climb in. Usually by this point I fall asleep! It takes a bit but it's better than hours sitting and being anxious :) hope you find a solution that works for you!
 
Thank you, I will try this on Friday, when I know we doing something Saturday and I feel anxious about sleeping.

Does it work if you wake in night too?
 
I have a sleep track on my pod for bed. It really helps x
 
Yep it works any time I have issues falling asleep. :)
 
Downloaded not sure what I do though just start it when I go to sleep?
 
No Ronnie i think she was referring to her meditation. i get mine from youtube and download it as an mp3 track. They are between 20 mins and 10 hours long. It depends on what you need x
