Hiya ladies

I have just started on zoladex, have my 2nd injection in just over a week.

Have been getting terrible headaches. Also a/f came 5 days early :cry: And was alot more painful too

Any advice would be welcomed if you have had zoladex too

Do the headaches last all the way through treatment???

blimey I had these years ago so a bit hazy but yes headaches were bad.I remeber being told your body has to adjust.I got the bloody lot though.hot flushes, voice changed, mood swings but despite these my endo started to clear up.I did the 3 mth course then had a break and the 2nd time was a lot easier.Did not suffer so badly.I've just had my 4th baby and I think I'm having to start the injections again, something I am not looking forward to.Hope you get some relief soon.feel free to ask away hun xxxxxxx Zoe xxxxx

4Th bump

Thanks hun.
I haven't started on the flushes as yet, had them when i had prostap though.
Wat did you take for the headaches.
I have had my normal opain relief for my a/f and endo pain and the headache hasn't budged at all

I swear by 2 paracetomol and 2 ibroprofen.they can be taken together.ibro is good for inflamation and paracetomol is for pain .Best thing ever for me.I have had to take codiene occasionaly but get tummy ache if to often.I also do the herbal thing.Evening primrose oil and black cohosh for the flushesXX

I take codine that i get from the doc's. It normally works on some of a/f pain as it is quite stong compared to over the counter drugs. Might try the ibro then. Was told not to take it as ttc but it ain't gionna make much difference at the moment as we cant ttc as waiting for my op.

Thanks hun

no worries.unsure why you cant take ibro whenn ttc but its fab for pain relief.Good luck with your op.I had a big op in 2004 to unstick me!All my bits and bobs were glued together with Endo.Im waiting for an op on a cyst and poss partial hysterectomy x

Hi ladies, I realise this thread is rather old, but I came across it when looking for info about Zoladex. I had one 3-month injection in June for endometriosis, so theoretically it should wear off September. Just wondering:
-which dose you ladies had (3.6mg every month, or the 10.8mg every 3 months)?
-how long did it take for AF to return?
-or when did you start TTC after Zoladex?
