hello by the way everyone im new here!

Last october i had a misscarriage. Then about 2 1/2 weeks ago i had two positive pregnancy tests plus all the typical signs of pregnancy. Went to see my doctor he told me im about 7-8 weeks and im going to see my midwife tomorrow. The last few days ive been having cramping pains in my stomach, went to hospital they advised me to just take paracetamol. still having them and really feels like just before you have a period. also for about the last 2 weeks ive been having lots of discharge, is this normal? does this sound normal or am i just being paranoid about what happened before.

any help would be much appreciated? sorry for the essay just really worried!

thanks a lot

Well, I'm just going to say what everyone after me is going to say - this is completely normal! The cramps that feel like you're about to start your period is just your little one embedding in your uterus - it takes a while to get used to - I haven't yet! The discharge is normal too. Try not to worry, although I can't talk as I went to the doctor too, with the same thing! Unless you get severe cramps or heavy bleeding, there should be no cause for concern.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy - have a happy and healthy 9 months!! x x x

thank you very much, i keep telling myself im being paranoid but you cant help but worry can you. your advice is much appreciated xxx

It is totall normal love. It is funny because noone ever tells you these little things about being pregnant. I have cramped through out my whole pregnancy, and as for the discharge, ugh, get used to it. :)

It's not easy to stop worrying :hugs: It is normal as said above, and you'll prbably continue to have cramps and pulling pains as the uterus stretches and grows. And the discharge.... eugh .... yes, it definetley increases to the point where you have to wear a liner sometimes. As long as it's not itchy or smelly, don't worry too much, however, thrush is very common in pregnancy, but easily resolved. If the cramping becomes really really severe and/or you experience bleeding, then you'll need to see the doctor, or midwife. But even then, bleeding is also really common in pregnancy

Congratulations on your pregnancy, and welcome to Baby & Bump :hugs: :happydance:

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

All the other wonderful posters have stated what I would have :)

Good luck with pregnancy. I know i felt period was coming before i got BFP and cramping is common.:hugs:
