I had brown spotting from about week 8 - 11 and now i'm nearly 17 weeks and bubba so far is fine!

Yes, me. I had brown discharge at 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 11 weeks and 13 weeks. I'm now approaching 33 weeks and all is well. I won't tell you not to worry as thats ridiculous and impossible. But I do wish you all the best :flower:

I had brown discharge from weeks 5-8 due to a leaking cyst. I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow. Try to relax and ease your mind, and call your doctor or midwife. It is extremely hard to not worry, but good luck!

I had bright clots and spotting on and off from 5 wks to 9 wks. Fortunately everything looks ok so far, and my doc said he sees it in 50 % of his patients.

I know its hard not to worry. I hope your lil one is doing alright.

Yep, had this a few times....it seemed like I got it for the first few months around when I would've gotten my period. Not a lot, just a little.

I had brown spotting at 6 weeks and a gush bright red bleed at 16 weeks. Baby is fine! Try not to worry, easier said than done I know! Hugs. xx

Me too! Had spotting at 6+2..scared the hell outta me. Dr put me on progesterone for 6 weeks and all is fine so far xx

Good luck :hugs: It is VERY common to have some spotting that early in pregnancy.

I had brown, pink, and bright red bleeding for 2 weeks from weeks 4-6 and all is ok!! xx It varied from very light to quite heavy (I thought it was AF)

Thanks so much ladies :) so reassuring to hear these stories. I'm going to monitor it for the next few days and see what happens. Still had nothing since lunch time so praying that may be it!! Thanks again!! Xx xx

I had brown discharge and spotting at the begning of my pregnancy, (and a lot of it , not only on toilet paper but in y underwear too) and im 17 weeks now.
but if you worried about it call your doctor :)

I've had brown (which they say is old blood) and I've had about 8 bleeds (I'm loosing count of how many times ive bled it's happened that offten! Twice this week!) and my baby is fine and healthy, apparently the blood is coming from my cervix not the baby, so it's more like an irritated spot in the cervix that's causing the bleed.
Xxx

I had brown and also some bright red bleeding at about 7 weeks. All is fine though and bubs is growing well!

I had a big gush of bright red blood at 6wks which soaked through my underwear and all is fine.

Hope all is well

I had bleeding at 7 weeks and then heavy brown discharge at weeks 10 and 14. Im now 21 weeks and baby is fine! Hope your ok hun xxx

With my first son, we had brown and pink spotting all through the first trimester. They did scans numerous times to find the source, and never could figure it out. He was always perfectly fine, so they didnt worry about it.

The doctor Im seeing now is a specialist, and when I called him about it, it didnt seem to phase him one tiny bit. He said brown is old and that its not concerning to him. He sees it a lot since hes a specialist. I guess most of the times everything is a-okay.

Hi hun

I had a lot of brown discharge which lasted from week 5 to week 7.

I was worried at the time so went to see my doctor and she said as long as its not red its fine.

I am now 26 weeks and me and baby are perfectly healthy.

Try not to worry.

I had a m/c at about 5 1/2 weeks before this pregnancy so when I got the pinky brownish discharge this time I was convinced it was happening again. The doctor referred me for an early scan which I had at 6 weeks and we saw what we now know to be our little girl, with a tiny heartbeat. We were ecstatic and relieved but then a few days later I got the discharge again, this time accompanied by lots of pain. I figured a m/c was inevitable and decided not to go to the doctors but just to let it take it's course. Anyway, the discharge and pain subsided after a couple of days so I didn't really know what was going on. At 8 weeks I went for a private scan and we found out she was still in there, and doing fine. And now here I am at 22 weeks and as far as I know she's ok.

So, as you and I both know, bad things do happen, but don't lose hope because the majority of the time things are ok. For me the paranoia is still there and I'm constantly panicking that something has gone wrong, but I guess we should all try and relax and let our bodies do what they are made to do and hope for the best.

I hope everything works out well for you.

Charlotte xx
