Okay, so I won't be getting a homebirth anymore, but the consultant has agreed to a breech vbac!! She said she is a little aprehensive but is willing to let me go ahead with it.

I'm booked in for an ECV next week (at 37+2.) If this works, I'm planning to labour at home then go into hospital for delivery. If it doesn't work and I do go for the breech vbac, I find the idea of labouring at home a little more daunting.

What would you ladies do? And how do you know when its time to go to hospital if you labour at home?

Thanks for reading :)

Hi! I don't have experience with it... but didn't want to read and run. I think it's awesome that your midwife is okay to go forward with it! I think your ticker said 36 weeks? Are you going to try all the little "tricks" to turn the baby (less invasive than ECV)? Like swimming... certain positions... chiropractor? Just wondering bc my midwife says if the baby goes breech she has a "bag of tricks" to try like the above.

I've no idea if they work, of course, just curious :)
