Hello ladies,

Hoping someone can shed some light on my chart this cycle. I preface this by saying that I recently experienced a miscarriage, so I know things may be a bit out of whack down there.

I guess I'm confused as to why I've had 4 days now of solid positive OPKs (test line darker than control). My temps have started to climb already though. Not sure what to make of it as far as ovulation goes. Also have had spotting yesterday and today (ovulation?).

Any thoughts on my chart would be appreciated. Chart is attached. Thanks! :flower:

I'd say you ovulated already, sometime between CD17-19. I always had 8-11 days of + OPKs each cycle (I know, I'm a freak of nature... even my OB said she had never heard of it before). We had no idea when/if I was ovulating since tests were + for so long each month. We finally learned it was the temp rise that really confirmed ovulation (confirmed by blood draw and progesterone test). I would have + OPKs for several days before AND after I ovulated. (It was like my LH levels stayed high even after ovulation for some completely unknown reason.) however, whatever it meant (and my OB didn't know), it didn't prevent me from eventually getting pregnant with our daughter.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Mine broke my heart. I wish you all the luck in the world as you start TTCAL. :hugs:

Thank you for your response, Topanga (and for your kind words)! Did you conceive naturally?

My temp shot up this morning to 97.9, so I'm guessing I ovulated already. We kept up the BD to be sure. We'll see. I'm not 100% sure my eggs release at all even though my cycles appear pretty normal on paper. My diagnosis is a vague "ovarian dysfunction" (aka they don't know).

I did. I've had three pregnancies (my miscarriage, my daughter, and my current pregnancy) and all of them were natural. We conceived quickly with my miscarriage, but my daughter and this pregnancy each took us about a year.
