Hi everyone, I know it's early to tell and development is still happening over time, but just wanted to see what others thought. The tech said that based on what she saw, her answer was a definite girl. I have two other children and was never told this early, but apparently she was able to come to a conclusion based on what she saw at this point. I was talking with the doctor while she was doing her "search" so i didn't have a chance to watch the screen or ask questions. She seemed thorough, searching for about 3-4 minutes before giving me an answer. What do you guys think? Do you think she based her findings not just on the 3 lines, but other factors?

Still early, but looks promising for :pink:
With my DD3 the tech also guessed girl at 12+6 correctly!
With DD1&2 (same tech) would not take a guess, so I think if the tech is willing to take an early guess, they must be pretty confident!

Congrats on baby :flower:

Based on the first picture, I would say it's :pink: but don't go out and buy anything before you confirm at 20 weeks!

Looks really :pink: but early!

Congrats!

thanks, everyone! with my two sons, the tech refused to tell me at 13 weeks. this tech seemed certain based on what she saw. i even asked the doctor about it and his reply was, "she knows what she's doing, hopefully" and they both laughed. i guess i'm just a little shocked and uncertain because i didn't watch what she was doing, and only have these pictures to go by, plus her word. but again, i know it's early and i will take it with a grain of salt. but i sure do hope she's right!

maybe a liability issue? or they just don't want to be responsible for telling parents, then be wrong later. i'm not sure... but i do hear that technology has gotten a lot better. and if they were trained and thorough, they would have a pretty good guess. but a guess is still a guess. in my case, i do hope that her confident guess is right.
