I'm trying to prepare for beeastfeeding my second. I haven't been diagnosed with IGT (insufficient glandular tissue) but my midwife seems to think it is likely based on what I told her and her examination of my breasts. She has recommended I speak to a lactation consultant about taking goat's rue in 3rd tri.
I've also been doing some of my own research on herbs that are safe during pregnancy and may help with milk production. It seems alfafa and raspberry leaf are supposed to help, as is nettle. So I'm going to run these past my midwife and if she says they ar ok try taking them in a tea.
Just wondering if there are any other mothers here with suspected (or diagnosed!) IGT, and you are taking anything or doing anything different this time around?
