Any low HCG levels at 4 wks - but doing fine now?

I was approximately 14-15DPO (not exactly sure which day I ovulated) when my 1st beta came back at 79. Going back in tomorrow 18-19DPO to see if they have quadrupled. Any women out there start with this low of a beta at 14-15 DPO and are now doing fine in your pregnancy?? I am so stressed out I can't think of anything else. I need some reassurance that these low numbers don't mean another MC for me.

79 is not THAT far off from the median at 4 weeks (102) and the lowest was 1 and highest over 2000 for single babies!!! These were all pregnancies that eventually heard a heart beat.

It's hard not to worry but don't worry yourself too much!!! Keep us updated on your numbers.

Mine was 71 then 4 days later 231 and a week later 394 and now we r just in limbo waiting on another test Monday

That is wonderful to hear!!!! Congrats to you!!! How fast did your Betas rise?? My progesterone is at 49, which my OB said was a very good sign.

I know I ovulated at either 14 or 15 DPO because of my positive OPK and then a BBTemp jump. So I'm praying I just had a little later implantation, maybe on 10 DPO and that my numbers are going to be in the 300-400 range at least by tomorrow.

What's your EDD? What was your most recent hcg level? And when do you get your next Beta taken? Mine is tomorrow morning. Like I said, I will not be able to think of anything else until I get those numbers back at lunch time.

I wish I could get my betas tested!!! I went to the military hospital and they told me "they don't do that" even though I checked on the insurance website and it says they do! >:O

OH Honey, I am so sorry! That makes me angry for you!!! What's your Due Date?

Right now it is the Nov 7th cause of day of last menstrual cycle. I go Monday which will be a week from the last test which was the 394. I am extremely nervous but trying not to stress too much. Good luck on your test!

UGH. I went yesterday and it took them 35 minutes before they even called me back there (after announcing to everyone I was there for a pregnancy test, they had ZERO privacy which surprised me a bit). There was like, hardly anyone there waiting, mind you. They kept taking everyone ahead of me (I was in the walk-in section because I called the appt line and they said I have to go to walk in hours). None of them who were called before me were in uniform or anything, and I really didn't get it. I finally went back there and I explained to the nurse when my LMP was, etc, and she said they don't have any ob-gyn at the hospital and that I'd have to be referred to someone in the city. I told her the problem with that is that we're only on temporary duty until April 1 and I knew going to a doctor would be kind of silly. I just wanted a quick dr referral or a doctor/nurse to approve getting a blood test. Her response was "oh, so you just want to know if you're pregnant." I said "no, I already know I am, I want a blood test to see what my hcg levels are. I've tested positive for a week straight on HPT on different brands" and she promptly goes "oh well we don't do that". ??? I KNOW they do that, and I called tricare before I even went and asked them to switch over all my info so that I could get care at the base where we are at now. I guess they were hesitant to do that for me because I am not paired up with a doctor but I felt they basically denied me care because hubby who is active duty is only on temporary duty at our location.

My EDD is Nov 21 bast on LMP but I O'd early this cycle so I think I'm more likely due a bit earlier but nonetheless, I know it's covered and I know they have a lab on base to take blood and that they obviously have a lab to send stuff of to if need be so when she told me that if I want any blood work it has to be just to find out if I'm pregnant or not so I just looked at her and said thanks and left :/

It really got a me worked up today because I woke up and had some very light brown/beige mixed in CM when I wiped after going potty, none on panties or anything, no pink/red, no cramping, no temp change or anything, so I know it's probably just clearing out a bit in there because AF was supposed to be here 1-2 days ago according to 27-28 day cycles. I didn't want to be an annoying pregnant lady demanding all these ultrasounds and fetal scans at 4 weeks because that wasn't what I wanted and I left discouraged!

That being said, none of them were rude or anything I just expected it to be a little more professional. I can't wait to get to our permanent station and get the ball rolling.

They tested me again at 4w 4d and said my levels were fine. I asked them not to tell me the number so I would not stress LOL it didn't work.
I think the problem with testing is that there is such a wide range of normal. It's hard not to worry when you are on the lower end.

The nurse at my OBs office just called.... (The 'STAT' status on my test order obviously works! LOL!) My numbers have come back already and went from 79 on Monday to 560 today!!!!!!!!!! She wanted to caution me that THAT big of a jump could mean multiples. (I almost passed out!!) My Sweet BF and I are so happy. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!!!

Our first Ultrasound is scheduled for April 2 to see if we are going to be parents of 1 or possibly 2 LOs!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Multiples are running rampant in March!!! GOODNESS!!! I feel like everyone is finding out they're having twins!!! I'm so happy for you, congratulations, whether it is 1 or 2 little ones! I am so pissed they wouldn't let me get a blood test >:O
