Any LTTTCers Conceive, have a baby, then conceive again?

It was such an amazing thing to fall pregnant after 6 years trying. Have any of you tried to get pregnant again and how long did it take? Are you still trying?

I've had the baby blues due to traumatic birth and didn't have the best pregnancy, but we always said we'd TTC straight away incase I can't get pregnant again. Since my birth was so bad I think I would possibly be monitored for a larger baby this time and would know in advance but I really want to spend time getting to know my baby and spend special time with him.

It such a huge thing to consider because I would never go on birth control that would mess with my body after finally getting pregnant so condoms would be our only option, however after all those years trying to conceive it would feel really strange preventing a pregnancy, not that I would get pregnant right now!

It's a difficult decision because I don't have the choice like most mums do where they can choose when to have a baby. We'll be really lucky if it happens again.

Does anyone else have this problem?

But this is a very important thing we need to consider and I need to make a decision relatively soon what we're going to do.

We have the same problem...Alex took 3 years and 2 goes of IUI, we want another but when is the tough part as were not fortunate to fall quick let alone by ourselves!
We never got a diagnosis of anything, just unexplained so we might get lucky we might not...

I did decide i wouldnt cope with 2 close together so we picked a start point of when Alex is 2, if it happened straight away then id be comfortable with the age gap, any earlier and i wouldnt have been.

I'd hate to feel that I wasn't giving my Son the attention he deserves - being 6 years in the making and all! - because I had another baby on the way but then I don't want to never be able to conceive again and leave it too long that I'd regret that I hadn't tried sooner.

We never got a diagnosis either!
