hi girls have been away from pc for a week as i needed to get my head around the fact my hubby has a low sperm count iv been feeling so sad for him and me we are waiting to her back from the fertility doctor but seems to be taking ages huh and we have just started out new cake business so im really worn out from that i havnt even had time to pee on a stick this month but deep down in side im thinking whats the point on test ovulation im not going to get pregnant ! thats how i feel anyone else feel this way

Sorry to hear about your DH's SA results. You're definitely not on your own hun. I've been finding more and more that I keep thinking - why am I wasting my money, getting myself stressed and upset, and wasting my time with temping and POAS? If I'm not PG this month, I'm not using CBFM next month or temping. No point especially as we are going for treatment very very soon.

Hope you get your :bfp: very soon.

We had MF problems too. Our specialists told us to stop bothering with the POAS and temping and all that.

Once we had the news that IVF was our only hope (probs with me too) and I'd stopped with all that we had a few months of relief IYKWIM where I knew I wouldn't be PG and we were able to enjoy each other a lot more. The worst news seemed somehow to lift the pressure.

Yeh, I understand how you feel, I often feel like that!

Hey Faye,

I'm right there with you. Just found out too that my hubby has low count and mobility. Feel so confused as I was going for treatment for me to help me ovulate and now they wont help me!
Waiting to find out if nhs will pay for any of my ivf as i've been told thats my only option.

I'm trying to do as much research as i can to help our chances but there's so much info out there i'm just getting confused!

Anna

Hello Faye,
You are definitely not alone. I often feel the same way. I spent many months getting depressed even before a thought of BD, especially around my fertile days, let alone when my period arrived. Thinking what's the point doing anything, it's not going to work anyway. But what choice do I have but to fight and believe? If we didn't, we wouldn't be here.

I can understand how you feel but you have to try and remain positive. Good luck with the cake business :)

thanks for all the imput i just think we all have to keep postive which is hard when you feel a little down in the dumps my partner is so postive i dont no where he gets it from i wish you all luck with getting pregers fingers crossed

what cute little babys

Hello faye38! I know what you mean, my DH has super low sperm count as well and things are not looking good. We are about to do our 3rd IUI, but RE already said this is our last because there's no sense in continuing and we should look into donor sperm of IVF...

There's good days, there's bad days, and there's horrible days, it's just such a roller coaster, but my hope is that in the end it will all be worth it because we will have our own baby..

Lots of luck to you and hang in there!

hi it will happen for you babes i was talking to a couple the other day and thay got pregers after 13 years and thay had iui she said it was better than ivf which is could ! but im have been thinking of sperm donation if it dosnt work for us as my biological clock it ticking away what will be your next step and is iui painfull

Thank you so much we all need this kind of support from each other and success stories!!!! They keep me going!!! :)

If this upcoming IUI doesn't work, we will do in vitro. We will probably have to wait a while so we can save up, but I know DH and I don't want to consider donor sperm right now.

And IUI's are not painful at all. It's like having your annual exam, and it's over pretty quick.

Lots of luck and :dust::dust::dust:
to you, wishing you a speedy :bfp:!!!!
:hugs:
