ok so i got my vaccine 3 days ago and my arm still hurts and i noticed today that the point of injection is a little swollen and red. any one else have this?

I'm having mine next week. I've read that a sore arm is a side effect, but will be stalking this thread to see what everyone else has experienced.

Hope it stops hurting soon!

yes two to three days later i noticed a lump which got bigger and wider over the next 2 days to the point it was red and about 2 inch in diameter, it had gone by a week

I had mine about 2 weeks ago and yeah my arm was sore the next day but no swollen or red.

Completely normal - my arm swelled and was sore for about a week...

Mine too!

Came up with a sort of wide red lump and ached for about 4days like a dead arm pain. Then it stopped and hasn't hurt at all since.

Xx

I didn't get a lump but my arm was sore for a few good days!

I had mine today and it feels as if I have never had anything done. I didn't even feel the needle go in!

So I'm confused haha :haha:

I got the lump and it was sore for a week! Mine had tetanus in it too so I'm not sure if it was the tetanus or the whooping cough that hurt so bad. Maybe a combo of both? I hope your arm stops hurting soon!

I had mine Tuesday. Arm is better, only sore like muscle ache when I lift it. Site of injection is still a bit red and raised like a small spot x

My doctor told me that it helps to exercise the arm. When I got my shot 3 years ago, I went straight to the gym to lift weights. My arm was sore for a bit, but it didn't last long. I'm getting my shot tomorrow & plan on going swimming right after to keep my arm moving.

I was told that it could hurt for five days. I do seems to be having a sore throat, but not sure if its connected.

With me my arm just ached for a couple of days, but didn't get any outwardly signs at the injection site. I was warned in advanced before the injection that it was a common side effect for redness to appear, and in the case of the mixed one that a lump could appear within a week.

I didn't feel the injection until the day after! Then it went red and hot and for a few days (prob 5/6) I had a swollen large patch on my arm (2"x4" easilly), that gradually went down.
Doc said this was totally normal and to not worry about it :)
