Any other 98th percentile babies?

He was 9lbs at birth so to me that sounds fine, if it was a smaller baby (7lb) and they had gained 8lbs in that amount of time I doubt they would have said anything! Ignore them, HV's always have a bee in their bonet about something.

My boys are both 99.6th for weight, off the chart for length and 98-99.6th for head circumference. I hate being told they're overweight etc (especially my toddler) because of these stupid centile lines - he's NOT fat at all! He's tall and weight is well in proportion - sometimes I think he looks too skinny. If everything is in proportion I think they should just keep quiet.

Harrison is just 3 months old , born May 5th, he weighed 8lbs at birth but dropped almost a full pound within a few days (before my milk came in) he was last weighed at his 2 month appt and he weighed 15lbs 6 oz so my guess is he is about 17 lbs now

DD is 2 weeks tomorrow and is between 98th and 99.6th percentile for everything. HV doesn't seem worried, neither did midwives etc so I'm not too bothered.

OH is glad she's a big baby as he'd never held a baby before she was born so glad to be holding a baby that actually has some weight behind her lol. Don't think she seems as breakable and delicate to him as all other babies seem to have lol x

My LO is 5 months old and weighs just under 22lbs - he's on the top line for weight, length and is perfectly in proportion. He has a lovely round face and wonderfully chubby legs - he is thriving x
