Had my BFP yesterday!?! Not sure of an exact due date but it should be very early December... Anyone else?

i'm due december 7th, based on LMP.
FF says december 4th, based on ovulation though.
we'll see what the doctor says when i get an ultrasound.
but that's not until may 7th:wacko::coffee::wacko::coffee:

where in ohio are you from? i'm originally from northeast ohio.

so, not too close, but in the whole scope of things, pretty close.:haha:
i have lived in japan for the last 8 years though.

hello! im new to the site and im due dec 6th w/ my first.

:hi: our due dates are super close! i just scheduled my first drs appointment...have you been into the dr yet? :flower:

yay!:friends:

it's a long story, but i wiggled my way into an early "dating scan" that's scheduled for april 15th. it's already tuesday here, so only 8 more days!:coffee::wacko: my first actual appointment with the doctor is on may 7th (9w+3d). usually they don't do anything except bloodwork here until your 12 week appointment:shock: but the OBGYN clinic will be closed for 2 weeks, so they let me come before that even though i'll only be 9+3, instead of waiting an extra 3 weeks. (i sort of put up a fuss after some crappy patient care with my last pregnancy, so i think they were trying to appease me!:finger::haha:)

glad you were able to get squeezed in before they close for a couple weeks :happydance:: my appt is thursday at 2, basically just a pregnancy confirmation appointment. this pregnancy is a total shock to me (still!) and was unplanned but im very happy all the same... its my first also and i literally have no idea when the first appt is really supposed to be, but i know ill feel better having it confirmed by the dr and asking a million questions etc etc

i didn't know either but it tends to feel like there are a TON of people around here that get early scans. obviously depends on the country and insurance but it's not completely unheard of to not get an ultrasound until 10-14 weeks. anyone undergoing fertility treatment/drugs or who has had multiple miscarriages, will have more scans and appointments. try not to let it freak you out if your doctor doesn't do a lot of early stuff. then again, if you are the nervous type (ahem,no, not me...never!:haha:) it might be good to just ask and get the whole schedule/timing of appointments fully explained to you. and get a list of medicines you can take safely during pregnancy.

worrier? me? yes another reason i wanted to come in was bc i was taking a couple perscription medications when i found out i was pregnant (stopped taking them as soon as i found out) and wanted to ask about all that and make sure i was doing the right thing! since it was planned i also wasnt taking any prenatals when i conceived but im all over that now

since it WASNT planned lol****

some medicines are safe, and sometimes stopping suddenly can have adverse effects, so definitely good to get in early and ask for sure!

yea, i dont think any of the meds im taking have ADVERSE effects from stopping (thank u google) but i just have tons of questions about what is safe to take during pregnancy and whats not, etc. :)

phew, Dr. Google was actually helpful for once!?:haha: good to hear though!

just woke up from a 2 hour nap. all my fears (which i just went on and on about in my journal:blush:) seem to be less now because i used to nap here and there before, but never for 2 hours straight, especially after sleeping in, no less! will, and NEED to, tell myself baby is doing just fine!

I'm having issues finding a doctor that is affiliated with either of the hospitals I would want to go to. The one office also said that they don't want to see you until you are estimated to be 6/8 weeks and the other office I spoke to wanted to get me in right away but because I wanted to see a female they couldn't get me in until the 24th. I'm ready to let someone else find a doctor for me lol

well, the 6/8 week estimate from the first one sounds pretty normal. i had bloodwork done before then, but just went to the lab and had blood drawn but never saw anyone but the lab tech. i didn't actually have an appointment until 6 weeks to fill out paperwork and meet with the OB nurse. and then the 24th is only 2 weeks away! that's not horrible, right? i say go for either of those if they are affliated with the hospital you would likely go to!
