So, I symptom spot like nuts towards the end of my cycle, even though I'm WTT and still on BC. Am I the only one? Please tell me it's a club I've joined and that I'm not a lone wolf.

Trust me, you're not the only one. I symptom spot every single month, just hoping that somehow my birth control failed. Now I finally got off BC and it's probably only going to get worse. :dohh:

My DH does! :D Every time I'm the teenytiniest bit unwell he asks me if I'm pregnant, bless him.

My MIL does it on my behalf  she's been convinced that we are ttc for about half a year now, even though we are still wtt! Everytime I see her, she's like "Oooh, you look a bit peaky/you're glowing/have you put on weight, nudge nudge wink wink!" It's nice to know that she is so keen to be a Nan, and I can't wait until we actually have news to give her, but in the mean time, her symptom spotting is sending me loopy! Everytime she notices something, it gets me wondering whether I might be

I never use to give it a second thought, or when my period was due. Now I do see symptoms all over the place, I must remind myself that even when not pregnant I can get: indigestion, faint, sickness, sensitive boobs, tiredness etc, so not to get paranoid when TTC.

i kind of know what you mean. i'm single so it's absolutely impossible that i would be pregnant but i've been maticulously tracking my periods. i never used to take any notice of them and i told myself i would wait until january before starting to note it all down. that went out the window quite quickly, i even picked up an opk when shopping the other day. i was good though and put it down!

I do this all the time!! lol!! I did when I was on bc, but now we're not (but still wttc) it is sooooo much worse, every month I think every little thing means we've done it!! lol!!

I do! I was on birth control but now I'm off of it and we're using condoms. I symtpom spotted when I was on BC and now that I'm off it, I'll be doing the same thing, just hoping that the condom failed somehow!

it's v reassuring to see there are so many other ppl doing this!:haha:

I'm still on BCP and end up symptom spotting every month! There was an occasion last year when i genuinely thought that BCP might have failed (missed a couple and also had been on other medication that de-activates it and hadn't been using any other BC). For about ten days i was getting sore bbs, nausea, dizziness, etc. Told DH and he was so excited! needless to say it all came to nothing but it just spurred on my broodiness and symptom spotting obsession!

oh well, will happen eventually!xx

I have been symptom spotting like crazy today! Convincing myself that I could be pregnant when I know there is no way. Good to know others do it too.

I've symptom spotted as long as I've been married, but only really when my period was late, but in the past two months since my chemical pregancy, I've been horrible. everything that could remotely be sign, sends me into a symptom spotting craze. Really bad. I'm somewhere from 4-7 away from af right now, and spotting symptoms left and right. It doesn't help that we've just switched to nfp which makes things a little more risky lol.

Haha, my MIL is like this too. "Oh you're nauseous, hmm wonder what could causing that, wink wink" lol. Unfortunately though, she's not overly enthusiastic to be a grandmother

I've been symptom spotting like crazy. Right now my thing is that my boobs are sore and I have been SO ridiculously emotional so I keep thinking "hmm, maybe I'm pregnant". Now, the silly part is that my PMS symptoms have always been the same as my early pregnancy symptoms with Muffin, ever since I started my period as a teen. So, I know good and well that these symptoms mean precisely squat at this point but I still keep thinking "ooo! Maybe!" even though I'm on the patch.

I am a self-confessed symptom spotter! I do it all the time lol

I symptom-spot all the time - I can't help it! Lol..Even about a month ago, my mum was like 'You need to take a pregnancy test' etc..but my period started like a week later :| ah well..the time will come when we're ready x

I almost cried today in church just THINKING about going up and bearing my tetsimonty (not from being upset or anything, it's totally voluntary, I was just that emotional). Then I almost cried tonight when South Park was on and this poor little boy didn't have any FB friends. Naturally I keep thinking "Ooooo! Should I go out and buy a 5 pack of HPT's?!?". I'm not but oh brother... June needs to get here really soon so I'll feel JUSTIFIED in my paranoia and neuroses. :roflmao

Meeee!
I'm on the pill & never miss 1 and I still symptom spot like crazy :dohh: just in the tiny hope! Even though now is not a good time :S
[And Cornbread I got a bit sad when he had no fb friends too haha!!]

I'm symptom spotting, I don't normally and i only have one sign when my AF is coming and so far not had that, even worse when i'm late for my AF i know when i'm not pregnant and i don't have that feeling, but it could be that i'm projecting because i'd like to be pregnant, but the thought of anything more than soup atm makes me want to throw up and has done for 4 days now....

Shall I keep my fingers crossed for you that you've got something to SS?

I'd love for people to keep their fingers crossed for me, i know it wouldn't be planned but i just got my appointment to see a fertility specialist and i'd love to be phoning them up to cancel because i had a BFP that stuck
