I am 19 weeks 5 days and have been having a feeling of bubbles popping under the left side of my ribs. Last appt at 16 weeks, baby was pretty much hanging out at my pantyline. I would love to say these are kicks (first pregnancy so really not sure) but would they be too high up at this point?

I think its really hard to say, its probably possible! Maybe if its not actual kicks, it's the result of kicks, if that makes sense. Maybe the movement itself is happening lower down but you feel it higher up.

I'd say it's absolutely possible, most ftms feel baby somewhere around 20 weeks so I'd say sure!

Mine felt like gas bubbles and with anterior placenta it was 21 weeks when I first felt him/her.

I'd say no, not that high. At 20 weeks the top of your uterus is about belly button height, movement will generally be felt lower down x

If you are short it may be slightly higher up. I feel kicks under my ribs and I'm 26w, I have felt them here for a few weeks.

I am 5'3" and at 16+4 my uterus was slightly higher than my navel. Feeling it today too, and it is definitely not gas pains.

I say these could definitely be kicks. I've felt kicks in my ribs since around 19 weeks especially when I'm sitting down and everything's all scrunched up :)
