Anybody ovulate with Femara and NO Trigger?

Has anybody ovulated while on Femara without a trigger shot. If so, how big was your follicle and what day?

I'm CD 18 and have a 20 mm follicle...just wandering if there is still hope!

I have never been on Femara. So sorry I can't help you out. But how is it different from clomid?

Hey, I have! Quite a few times. Not sure the size of my follies because the only times my follies were measured was to trigger so that we could time iui perfectly. The two times I triggered I got the measurements before I triggered. 1st time was two one on each side. One was 18 and the other 21 and the second time was only one on my left it measured 19

I have never taken clomid only letrozole(generic femara), but a couple of differences that I read other woman talk about is side effects are more bearable on femara and also for some clomid thins your uterine lining while letrozole causes your body to make more estrogen so your lining still stays thick enough for a sticky bean!

Femara also has a lower incidence of multiples and hyperstimulation. It is also out of your system within days rather than lingering for weeks or months depending on dosage of clomid.
