anybody really dreading wearing pads after birth

I am not looking forward to the bleeding. One of our friends who had her baby recently said that when she got into the shower after the birth she passed a blood clot the size of her hand! Her HAND!!!! She bled for six weeks!

Eugh

It's really not that bad. After labour you won't mind :haha:
As long as you change your pads regularly it's fine. Mine's gone down so much already :)

I wore maternity psds for 12hrs; after that I used liners lol

i always used tampons, couldn't stand anything else, but trust me after having a baby and (if) you have stitches... i mean i had loads and a tampon was the last thing i wanted it was comfy to sit down on a nice big fat maternity pad! :haha:

... i bled heavy, and tbh its not THAT bad your baby is so worth it!

Its not as bad as you think. Best thing I found for the first week or two was maternity pants (they are disposable-I got mine from tescos) They were amazing and when doubled with a massive pad made everything all comfy down there (I had over 50 stitches)
Honestly you will be thinking of comfort more than anything else!

im still bleeding... might have something to do with the fourth degree tear tho
