Anybody's baby sleep better once moved to new cot or new room?

We only had ours in his crib for 4 weeks, which he seemed to hate, then tried him in his cot (in our room) and he slept much better. Not dared try his own room yet because, like you, I'm breast feeding and want him close till he starts sleeping through.

I would say so.. we used to make him stir every time our bed moved lol..

Sofia slept on me for the first 10 weeks, then she went in a co-sleeping bassinet.

We moved her into her own room at 9 months, and I think she should've gone earlier as she had started to wake every time my DH rolled over! She was very sensitive to him being in the room, probably because he works away 6 days and is back for 5.

She didn't even really seem to notice when we moved her into her room, I put her down for her naps in there one day and then that night she slept in there. It did stop her waking all the time, however she was still waking every 3-4 hours until 2 days ago!
