Anyone else due when toddler turns 2?

My son will be 25 months when this baby is born. I'm not worried about it since he listens... Most of the time. Every day he's doing more and more on his own and getting better with accurately following directions.

I am due very soon (c-section scheduled for Dec 9th) and will have a 23 month gap between my little ones too. Hoping it's a good gap. Will let you know how it goes!

Il have 22 months age gap between my 2nd and this baby, my 3rd. I thought it was a good idea because when they small they at similar levels and interests. With my 1st and 2nd there was a 4.5yrs age gap and to be honest even now I find I have to make extra effort to find that time for my eldest because the things she does and is into is so vastly different to the toddler. She also needs more attention with school and clubs, something the toddler can't be involved in really. Yeh it will be hard work but in the long run I feel it should be better for me.

My son will be almost or around 21 months when his sister arrives. I think it's perfect :) I'm so excited he's going to have someone to play with all the time. Of course I'm nervous, but it's normal and I have a good support system around me.

Ill have exactly a 24 month age gap . My son is just starting the terrible 2,s at 21 months so this should be loads of fun !!! Lol..... I'm nervous it looking forward to the challenge . So what if I don't clean the house , cook or wash my hair for 6 month !!!!! Lol... ;)

My second daughter turns 2 when baby boy is due. my First daughter was 17 months when 2nd was born

My second was due when my first was only a year old. So there were lots of comments and suggestions. We ignored them all. People will comment regardless. This time, the boys will be 3.5 and 2.5 so a more acceptable age gap but all three under 4 so I'm sure we will hear it again

I had a 7 year gap between DS1 & Ds2 and this one will be a 19 month gap (it would have been shorter if I could but took a few months!). My friend has Irish twins (less than 12 months apart) and she gets on just fine. Yes busy but just fine!

I would have had all 3 under 3 if I could have. Why get used to sleep after being up for months and then go back to it again a few years later - get all the sleepless nights out of the way and then enjoy!!

So I'll see both side of it now come April a big gap and a little gap and I just cannot wait! :)

Good luck :)

My first was 2.3 years old when my 2nd was born. My 2nd will be 2.4 months when this third baby is born :) I like to think that it's a good age gap to have, I'll probably back track when baby is here mind... :)

If I had gotten pregnant around the time we started TTCing, my son would be 2 when this baby was born. He just turned 2 in September and will be about 2 years 7 months when this baby is born. After seeing the 2's so far, I am definitely happy that he will be closer to 3. Most of this reason however is just because the difference in his speech alone has been incredible. I am happy that he is now getting to the point where he can tell us generally what he wants and what he needs. If he is hot/cold, tired or hungry, etc. It takes a lot of the guessing out for us when it comes to him and he is starting to grow more independent.
