anyone else find they cant eat while bf???

Ok maybe I'm weird but I suddenly lose my appetite when bf. I feel kinda sick and go off my food. Is this normal? Annoying if he is feeding for ages at mealtimes lol

Nope, not me, I had 12 slices of pizza yesterday while BFing. At least I get some quiet time to eat when he eats, or I would starve to death.

12 slices! you sound like me! My portions are now bigger than my 6ft rugby player hubby's! No problems eating here!

I can't eat when he is nursing, but its because he stops nursing to watch me eat lol

I get this but I think it's more of a postnatal thing than a breastfeeding thing. My MIL had the same problem with her youngest (FF from the start) and ended up really anaemic. I really have to force myself to eat for the first few weeks after birth, it does wear off though and I have to be careful to watch it doesn't go too far the other way! Xx
