Anyone else have a c section and get a hematoma

I had a c section in december of last year and after a week being home from the hospital i had a bruise below my belly button and a hard lump and the nurses and doctors said it was just swelling , well my incision opened up and stopped bleeding after another week or so , and now its kinda red around the incision and a lil bit of fluid coming out , please let me know anything if you have gone through the same !! i did call my doctor but he said to wait until i got a fever and not to worry about it and he will see me on the 18th

I haven't had that happen, but I did have bladder trauma due to the prolonged pushing and emergency c-section and bled for a few days. Make sure the incision stays clean and covered and monitor yourself very closely for signs of infection: ie fever, puffy red around the site that is abnormal, pus, or red streaking. If you get any of those signs, get thee to a doctor!!! Heal fast, unfortunately, I don't think that is too uncommon.
