Anyone else have a hella needy super miserable 5 month old?

I can't put him down AT ALL. Not exaggerating. He instantly wails. He is pretty much unhappy most of the time now...no matter what I do. He needs to be in my arms 24/7. He even hates being worn in the wrap or the Ergo. He was such a peaceful mild newborn..but in the last month...an uber cranky discontentment has awoken in him. I guess it's teething. But seriously it's nonstop...

Anyone else? And deep inside I hope it's just teething and not his personality.

Edit to add: he's also in the 90th percentile for height and weight and has been to the pediatrician who says he's 100% healthy. So I hope it's teething...

Yep, I read your title and just thought yes!! Isla is just over four months old and she is seriously the most unhappy crying winey baby ever! She hates everything and cries after a few minutes, I pick her up she cries, I put her down she cries, bumbo cries, pushchair cries! You get the idea!!
She has suspected cmpi and also bad reflux so I don't no how much that plays a part in how she is but it is seriously draining! It's so hard and I seriously considered going back to work super early just so I can get away from the constant moaning. This coupled with the fact she doesn't sleep is absolutely exhausting me 😰
Big hugs lovely lady, all you can do is try your hardest!

Yes me!

Mine is miserable because he doesn't nap!! I haven't worn him yet but will be ordering a carrier very soon!

I can't put him down though :/

yes!! It comes and goes in waves, some weeks are worse than others (the past few days he's been an utter angel).

But definitely feel for you girl. do you have a carrier? I use an Infantino flip, good for front and back carrying which might be useful to take a walk to help zen LO out a little bit
