I had what they suspected was a haematoma. I did a twisting movement while getting my toddler out of the car 7days pp, and felt a pop and then the worse pain ever. Then after a couple of hours I noticed there was a tender lump about the size of a coin. The lump didn't go away and the pain in that area was really bad so I went back to my ob who thought maybe I popped a stitch and had a haematoma. He said it would just go away on it's own. The pain started getting better after 4 weeks and the lump had disappeared by the time I went in for my 6 week checkup. I don't know if that's really what I had, tbh the doctor seemed a bit confused by my lump. Hope everything goes ok with the surgery, it's definitely not what you want with a lo to care for xxx
