So far I've made 1 bib, 2 Burp cloths, 2 blankets, a changing mat clutch for the diaper bag and 7 soft blocks.. I have another blanket, 2 more Burp cloths and 1 bib cut out ready to sew. I still have more fabric but can't decide what else I want to do with it, if anything. We actually bought some Burp cloths too. We will be having a very small baby shower in January but I'm not putting things off until then. I'll be huge and can't see myself sewing haha
I'm not sewing but I am crocheting, iv made a couple of hats, booties, a blanket and two cardigans so far, just waiting on the buttons for the cardigans to finish them off

Just finished the first of four crib sheets last night! Organic cotton crib sheets are $60 on Etsy, so I solicited the help of my mom to make my own and save a pile of money.

I'm not sewing- I suck at sewing. LOL! But I am crocheting a blanket. I made my first (with heat activated hemming tape and such.) Curtains and a pillow. I also crocheted her a teddy hammock.
I have a few other projects I have done. Like I made DD name letters, and I have done so for baby, just gotta attach ribbons to it to hang up. AND I am making a butterfly mobile for the nursery (AKA Princess suite)

Mine is already born, but I've sewn some "daddy flat" diapers out of flat diapers and receiving blankets to cut down on folding but still have the same benefits of flats. I just added snaps to my finished diapers (and also repaired some diapers with broken/missing snaps left from DS).

Diapers are one thing I kinda wish I could make but honestly haven't tried. I'll be making some Fleece covers as I have cloth diapers I used with my daughter. I may make longies too if I get motivated lol
My mother's family has a very long tradition of quilting and sewing. I have a couple of hundred year old quilts from my great grandmother. Tucked away for safekeeping. As soon as we know a gender my mom and I are going to the fabric store so I can pick out what I want the baby bedding made of. I will give her pictures as inspiration but I'm content for everything else to be done by hand through the winter. I have a couple of other aunts who will be crocheting and knitting a blanket or two. I unfortunately can't do more than follow simple patterns, hem and do patchwork quilts. All the same I think I might try a few simple hats or booties.
I got my great grandmother's rocking chair from my mom, and the cushions were pretty worn out so I made new ones. Haven't sewn anything since I was a girl so it was an adventure but they came out pretty good! My mom made us two quilts for the baby too.

The quilts sound amazing! I love love quilts. I do tend to stick with simple too... I used to make clothes for the kids but started thrift storing as I felt like sewing was taking too much of my time. I love making rag quilts and the simpler baby things. Hats are a great idea! Reminds me I wanted to make little mittens too... I used them all the time with my last or she scratched herself.

I t took me a while to get everything bought, but I have gotten some work done on it... If I could set myself to it, I could get it done in a day or two:
