Anyone else? (tmi)

I'm currently on day 10 of a 29 day cycle with my next af due 10th April. Yesterday when I went to the bathroom I noticed that on the tissue was what looked like a mucus plug (you know the sort you see when you are about to go into labour). It was cloudy in colour and fairly big in size. Has anyone else experienced this and do you know why this happened? This has never occurred to me before.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, co-incidentally i think I can help you.

I saw a lovely doctor yesterday for my annual Wellwoman appointment through work and I discussed my fertility questions including whether or not I ovulate.

She asked if I ever get a mucus plug mid cycle as this can indicate imminent ovulation...

I can't recall it but I do sometimes get EWCM streaked with blood.
