Hi everyone - this is my first post on a TTC forum and I'm looking for some advice and anyone in a similar position. I am 29 and my husband and I have been TTC for 5 months. Having been broody for the last 5+ years I started BBT charting as soon as he said he was ready to start trying, and I have noticed that my luteal phase is only about 9 days long. I've read that this can be a problem because it's not long enough for an embryo to implant. I tried 1000mg of b6 on cycle 4 along with evening primrose oil to increase EWCM but the combination stopped me ovulating so after 3 weeks I stopped taking both and had an annovulatory cycle. I'm nervous about trying b6 again but have heard loads of success stories. Has anyone else tried b6 and had success in lengthening their luteal phase? Or used something else that has worked? Thanks in advance 😊

Hi

I used to be 9 days. I took a vit b complex which I think helped. The cycle before I conceived was 12 days lp but I was averaging about 10 days lp and still got pregnant. I've always had slightly irregular cycles, late ovulation and short lp and I'm on baby no 2 conceived naturally.

That's helpful to know - thanks Hun. Do you remember if it was a B50 or B100 complex? I've been thinking of trying one but don't know whether it's best to start low or not.

I have no idea but I'll check and see if I still have some somewhere and let you know
