Has anyone else been diagnosed with a placenta that isn't working properly?
Found out yesterday that the flow of blood through my placenta isn't even within the min/max points in graph of what they expect to see :(
Baby is currently on 17th percentile but they are concerned that there's not enough blood etc going to his abdomen.

I have an appointment with doctor tomorrow as am already classed as high risk due to previous pre eclampsia with DD but was just wondering if anyone out there had experienced similar, how things were monitored and what happens etc......

I'm worried out of my mind and have done the dreaded google thing and now just don't know what to think :(

I was told my placenta wasn't working adequately during my last pregnancy, but this was 3 days after being diagnosed with pre-e and DD was down on the 4th centile so it obviously hadn't been working well for a while. I was told I would need daily growth scans until I delivered, however that wasn't necessary in the end as pre-e rapidly became HELLP and they delivered 2 days later. I would imagine they're going to want to do a lot of extra scans to check on the flow and that the baby is still growing x

How are things going?
I was told after my 12 weeks blood results came back, that my free betas were low and thus have an increased chance for my placenta being insufficient later in pregnancy. So, I might be where you are at in a few months!
I hope all is well!
