My husband and I got married this past July and have been TTC for a few months now. He was originally diagnosed in May 2012 (right around our first dating anniversary. He lived in NJ and me in Boston so we did he whole long distance thing for a year and a half) and he then had surgery to remove his right testicle. A few months later moved up to Boston to live with me. 14 months after his first diagnoses it came back and spread to the lymph nodes in his abdomen.(just a few weeks after we got engaged) He then had to go through 9 weeks of chemotherapy. As of Sept 24th he was a year cancer free!! We have to go to the oncologist every couple of months for bloodwork and cat scans and whatnot for the next 5 years. We went in November and they found a little spot on his right lung which they weren't too concerned about. The doc said if he was a chain smoker and 50 years old they'd be a little more concerend but we will just watch it. I guess it could have always been there I guess a lot of people have nodes on their lungs and are perfectly fine? The way the cat scan works it only images a certain small slice of your lung so maybe the last scan we got it just scanned a different layer and it could have been there!? We are going back to the oncologist next week for a check up and I'm praying its not there! I don't know if we can take a third cancer diagnosis in 3 years. Each time he gets chemo it delays us getting pregnant too. His doc said it's pretty much impossible to conceive until at least a year after his last chemo treattment. Luckily we did bank some sperm before he had surgery so we have that in case we can't coneive the traditional way but my husband doesn't want to have to use it and it's probably a lot of $$ too. Looking for anyone else who's husband may have had TC and are now TTC
