Anyone found this with formula?

My little boy used to have the ready made SMA formula milk and was taking 6oz at each feed no problem. We moved him over to powder formula and increased to 7oz as he was finishing each bottle before but now he will only take 3 or 4 oz at each feed, sometimes 5 or 6 but very rarely?

Is powder milk more filling than ready made? Or should i be worried that he's lost his appetite? He was a very hungry baby for the first 4-5 weeks and put weight on very quickly so this is a big change for him. But he still has regular wet/dirty nappies and always seems very content and happy?

It is more filling but the taste is also very different. The cartons are much sweeter due to the heat process they go through. I had this problem when my LO was tiny, it took months for me to wean him off cartons on to powder, he hated the powder with a passion!

i found this too, if i gave LO a carton she would glug down 4oz and still be hungry for more but with formula it was harder she would take 3-4oz and be full...started taking 5oz bottles yesterday!!
