Hi ladies, I have a 9 month old daughter and am thinking about having my boobs put back to the poistion they were before breastfeeding haha
am just wondering how long you couldnt look after your LO for after the op???Also any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.
Thankyou x

No advice hun, sorry

No but I think there's a plastic surgery thread somewhere in general forums??

I've always had -A cups (I mean these things are practically concave) so I'd be open to it :) I miss engorgement, it was the first time I ever got to a "B" !!!

apparently it takes 1-2 weeks to recover and in that period your not supposed to do any exercise or heavy lifting.
i want a tummy tuck desperatly!! =(

oh bless you! :flower:
I would do anything for an A or a B...ANYTHING I TELL YOU!! :haha::haha:
I am a uk size 8 and have 32E and thats awful, I feel so out of proportion and would love to have perky little ones (clothes look so much better!!)

I looked into before have LO and was offered the finance to have it done and just decided to not do it. I am only an A but I am happy with that. I am glad I fdidn't have it done because of having LO and breast feeding aswell. They were painful enough without the extra weight. Plus plan to have more children and want them to be as natural as poss for baby. Maybe one day in the future. But if thats what you want to do go for it

I have one but got it before babies, try googling breast buddies, good forum for advice x

I've had it done twice. Once in 1998 between first and second son and once in 2008, after third son but before my twin girls. I didn't need the second op but wanted to go bigger.

The first time I was working as a hairdresser and took a week off work, the second time not working but recovered just fine, didn't even take any pain killers and could do everything right away. Mine were over the muscle though, I think you'd need a bit longer to recover if you had unders. My friend is a nursry nurse and took a weel off after her 'unders'.

Look on the BAAPS register for a surgeon near you who specialises in breast surgery. You should see at least 3 surgeons really to compare them and discuss expected results and make sure you are on the same page as to what you can expect to achieve from the surgery. Some of the national companie can be good, but they are very 'hard sell' and you need to take your time to make a decision, if it goes wrong you could have serious problems.

dont know about how long you have to wait etc. but i want one too! i am saving now, who knows how long it will be before we can afford it

I've had a boob job - love it! But I haven't had any kids yet. I didn't have to take much time off work, I was just a little sore and couldn't lift a lot.

My sister had her boob job after she had her two kids and she looks amazing.

I had a boob job a few years back, before I had my little boy. I was sore for about a week and wasn't allowed to do any lifting. Couldn't lift my arms above my head for a few days. I was back to work as a nurse within 2 weeks. Good luck with it.

I had a boob job 6 years ago when my daughters were 5 and 6. I'd breastfed them both for 9 months each and gained/lost a lot of weight rapidly with each pregnancy. I had spaniels ears and DH and I split. I had no confidence and felt asexual/unattractive/unwomanly.

Unfortunately for me it was a horrible experience and something I completely regret. I feel I mutilated myself. My breasts were saggy and empty after BF. I went to Harley street and saw a nurse for a free consultation. She made it sound so easy and wonderful and assured me they could put my boobs back to what they were. I called and booked the op about a week later, I also had to book a consultant appt with the surgeon and I had to pay for it all there and then. It was such a scam. The consultant told me I could never look normal without an uplift which would cost an extra 2.5K and this was something I never wanted. I left in tears and rang to cancel but they smooth talked me into seeing a different consultant. This one said I could have a partial uplift. I felt pressurised into it but I went with it. As soon as I woke up it after the op it felt wrong. I;ve never come to terms with it. Me and DH got back together and he misses my old breasts. I only have partial sensation in them now and they look ridiculous. The only reason I have accepted what I did is that I could breast feed my son.

my advice would be to make sure you see a doctor and do not go with any company that allows you to pay before you have seen a doctor. really think it through and make sure you can accept loss of sensation as its far more common than they make out. I know it works out well for some people so I would never say dont do it but dont use the Harley Medical Group. :hugs:

Not yet but its on the cards!

One of my sisters went from an A to C cup 2yrs ago, then 6mths later found out she was pregnant so her boobs got bigger anyway :haha:
