anyone had OHSS on clomid?

hello everyone, I'm taking 50mg clomid unmonitored so i think I'm a bit paranoid, but wanted to ask if anyone has had OHSS and if so what your symptoms were?.. is it like, if you have it you KNOW you have it?

I have taken clomid before when ttc my daughter with no problems, I had 50mg which did nothing at all and 100mg which worked and eventually I conceived her naturally (despite no ov before clomid) and since having DD 2.5 years ago I have been having some irregular cycles (anywhere from 27 - 69 days, average being 40) compared to having none at all before...

I'm just a little bit concerned as I feel a bit sick but I think I'm being a bit paranoid / silly, it could all be in my head or just a coincidence? I also have backache but I assume that's unrelated?

I am cd16 but I don't think I have ovulated yet, I have had negative OPKs so far and in the past I didn't ovulate until about cd20...?

I haven't taken Clomid but I had mild ohss with ivf treatment, when I went to my hospital they told me you would know if you had it properly cause you would be doubled over in pain and unable to walk. However if you are worried it wouldn't hurt to contact your gp or hospital for some reassurance, hope that helps xxx

Did u find going from 50 to 100 make a big difference? Its just ive had 4 cycles of 50 no luck I want to take 100 but im also un monitored dr just gave me a prescription for clomid and left me to do it myself?

Well first time round 100 mg compared to 50mg made a huge difference as it made me ovulate whereas 50mg didn't do anything at all x I can't remember if I had more side effects or anything to be honest though, not that I remember but it was a few years ago now, fingers crossed for you! could you ask local GP for a blood test if you're worried? I think that's what I am going to do x
