anyone have a c-section for CPD and then have a HBAC?

I had a csection for my first birth following a very long labor, 3 hours of pushing, and finally a diagnosis of CPD (baby's head too big for mom's pelvis). It was a very bad experience, and something I'm not wanting to repeat with our new little #2! Looking into a home birth.

has anyone here had a home birth after having a csection for "CPD"?

Hi serena_song, I don't think anyone here has. I've had a home birth after a severe dystocia (but that was a vaginal birth, and 4 hours pushing) - it reoccurred again but was much easier to deal with because I was unmedicated.

true CPD is actually pretty rare, I would research on that and go from there. Also if your on facebook, theses groups may be helpful:

both VBAC groups, closed groups. Depending where you are looking to see if you have an ICAN chapter in your area may be helpful at gathering information also.

thanks for those links! yes, I know CPD is actually quite rare, which is why I am questioning the diagnosis and desiring a VBAC for #2, which is due in April!
