Hello ladies,
I plan to have my baby at city hospital in Notts, Im not originally from the east midlands and have never been to this hospital - anyone had their babies there? what was your experience?
I know it sounds daft but im worried about my aftercare, i dont want my baby took away from me but I want to get cleaned up and dressed after the birth so its vital my husband is with me afterwards. Will they make him leave? Also if I have an epidural can the three of us go straight yo the hospital hotel rather than be on the ward??
I had an awful experience 13 years ago when I had my son in Leeds, my partner at the time had to go straight home because I had my son at night (non visiting hours) they took my baby away from me to the nursery because I had an epidural that paralised me 12 hours AFTER the birth and I was left all night layed in my own blood since i couldnt get up to wash or change my pad. It was a nightmare I just wanted to get up, clean myself and take care of my baby
