I have gluten intolerance. Just a heads up, you might get false negatives on the blood test. I tested negative on all my Celiac tests. The specialist I saw finally said basically 'I don't know what's wrong with you, maybe you should just try a GF diet. If you feel better in two weeks, that's what it is'
Well I've been gf ever since, my symptoms are gone and I'm so thankful to feel normal again. I have been GF since 2007. It's kinda hard at first and you feel like you can't eat anything, but gets easier the longer you are on it. You just have to find alternate ways to make the food you want. Go to health food stores, there are a lot of GF noodles, mixes, cookies, etc. I also do a lot of research online. Usually you can search for what you want and find a gf recipe for it. This last month I made homemade corn dogs, chicken cordon bleu, and chinese sweet and sour chicken all gluten free from recipes online. And they all tasted great! There are a lot of bloggers out there that make amazing gluten free treats.
Health food stores are your friend, also try to see if there is a local celiac/gf group in your community, there are even gf facebook groups. Also a lot of the restaurant chains are getting better at having gf menus. My favorite gf places are Chili's, Outback Steakhouse, and Olive Garden. Outback even has a flourless chocolate cake that is amazing.
