Anyone in kent?

No... I have seen lots of people talking about that - is it where you keep track of temperature in the morning? I think that would encourage me to be more obsessed ha ha. Atm I am just keeping track of cycles and trying to time extra BD at what I think is most fertile time! What is everyone else doing? x

Btw Mrswaffer2b just read a bit of your WTT journal, husband and I will also have been together 10 years in October!

I plan on charting from October this year, before properly TTC in October next year. :) It's basically just recording your temperature as soon as you wake up, and paying attention to cervical mucus throughout your cycle. Other girls chart their cervical position too, but it's not essential. I'm going to use fertilityfriend.com to determine trends in my cycles. I plan on starting to chart a year early to get into the habit, and to know my cycles off The Pill. It'll also help DH and I during our NTNP period to maybe avoid BDing during my fertile window, if we want to. :)

Aww, that's amazing! I can't believe it's been a decade - but I do feel like we're completely different people now (we got together at 16). :D

I know, a decade - that sounds so long! You were a little younger than us we got together at 18, met first day of uni! Woo to finally being able to make babies :happydance:

Hey I started to get obsessed with it all but I dont want it to take over. I know the week I ovulate so we will just do it lots then. I started to chart but I dont wake up the same time everyday. I have used OPKS for this month and got some left so might use them up.. Im going to try the calm not obsessed approach but then again thats easier said then done! lol xx

Yeah, I know what you mean. I do think it can get a bit all-consuming, but I'll hopefully only do it casually (just record temp/CM and forget about it) - especially since we're not going to be TTC for another year.

I don't think it matters if you wake at different times of the day. I looked up charting when on night shifts, because I will probably work night shifts at times, and I read somewhere that as long as you have more than 3 hours' sleep, you can temp. :)

Thanks I didnt know that, thought it was strict on times! Can I ask why your not TTC now? xx

Mainly finances! :) I only just got my first nursing job after qualifying in June. :) I start on 12th September, so I have to sort all of that out first, and ensure I am on my full salary before even thinking about NTNP/TTC. DH is also about to start a teacher training course (PGCE Primary Education) at CCCU for a year, so - providing he gets his first teaching job in September next year, we can start TTC in October. :) If we fall pregnant while we're NTNP and he hasn't yet got a job secured, we will still have 9 months for him to get an offer/find one. :)

Thats sensible hun, Its goos when people plan ahead and done go rushing in to have a baby. Its such a big commitment and changes ur life so much (so my sister tells me).
Good luck on your nursing job, what hospital are u working at? x

KCH. :D I live a 20 minute walk away, so it's ideal (I don't drive! That's something else on my to-do list..!). Hopefully, if we buy ourselves a flat/house soon (we are renting at the moment), we won't be too far away so I can still walk to work. :) What do you do?

I work in recruitment which i only been doing for the last three months. I got married on the 23rd July so since then we have not been using anything. DH really wants a baby now which is great. your photo is lovely hun. My nephew has to go Kings as he has spinal biffida, my sister loves that hospital. I been watching 24 Hours in A&E x

Oh, I didn't mean Kings College Hospital - I meant Kent & Canterbury Hospital! :p Sorry, it's the abbreviation!

Oh sorry hun I read it as Kings college hospital lol..!

I live in Rainham and have 8 weeks to go until we meet LO :)

Hi girls, I'm in Medway but have booked myself to give birth at DVH as that's where I had my first and just wanted to go back somewhere we know - plus it's handy for work!

I also have a 3yr old girl, born by elective c-section but am hoping for a water birth VBAC this time :flower:
