anyone had blood work, and pelvic ultrasound come back fine?what happens next ?will they start me on met,or is there still more testing, I really feel its my weight keeping me from my bfp! I try so hard to lose it but nothing works.I don't even eat much, I can't understand why I'm fat:cry:

Hi Secondchance

I know exactly how you feel, I too am beginning to think that it's my weight that is stopping me getting a bfp! I am desperately trying to lose weight as the doc has told me that if I need to have fertility treatment I have to bring my bmi down.

You say that you don't eat that much, but that could be the reason that you aren't losing any weight, i know it sounds stupid but its true, if you don't eat very much, when you do eat your body automatically stores it as it doesn't know when it will get more food!

Good luck and lots of :dust:

I've just had heaps of tests completed and after bloods and a pelvic ultra sound I had surgery which included laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, dye test, curette and a biopsy on my uterus.

So I think that is pretty standard and surgery might be next for you.

Do you have PCOS or any other condition (such as thyroid) that is making it harder for you to lose weight?

I know quite a bit about diet/exercise and how the body works and am fairly knowledgable with nutrition, so if you want any help, PM me and i'd be more than happy to set up a program for you!

ive just completed all my tests the only thing i had done more was a hsg where they put a dye through your tubes to see if they are blocked.

i to find it hard to lose weight its like im fighting a losing battle, but ive since found out i have pcos so doc has started me on clomid and metformin so we will see how this goes............. have the docs give you any indication as to what they think is wrong yet? good luck hope every thing goes ok!

:hi:not yet I had a tr done in oct07 and lost left tube due to damage,so doc said it will be harder to get a bfp if I'm o on left side,oh who knows anymore,I just want to try metformin or clomid and if that doesn't help I think I'm givin up. it's to hard mentally every month:cry:

I know it does get really tough but once you start on treatment that should makes things easier, ive just come back from seeing my cousins baby hes only a day old, it makes me want one even more!!!
Have you started on met yet?
Keep your chin up girl these things are set to try us!:hugs:
