Hi ladies.

I've been ttc for 28 months now. I got bfp on 50mg of clomid after ttc for 22 months but my baby had a chromosome disorder and couldnt live. I lost her at 14 weeks. I never thought i'd get a bfp and scan photos etc and now can't believe i had all that taken away. I'm now back to sqaure one. Feel like i've been ttc forever. I'm back on clomid again now and hoping it works. I just got BFN today so expect AF later today.
Anyone in similar situation?

I'm sorry for your loss. Yes, I am in a similar situation. I have PCOS and so conceiving our son wasn't easy, though I wasn't diagnosed yet at the time. Anyway, I did fall pregnant with him, but he came early at 26+3 and we lost him two days later. It's now 22 months on, and no hint of a BFP.

It is very hard, and I'm sorry I don't have a perfect answer, but just wanted you to know you aren't alone.

I had a first trimester loss in October 2009. I consider it a chemical, or possible false positive. I've not had a BFP other than that.

Thanks ladies.

Its hard to know where i belong on the boards either here or ttc after a loss.
Im very sorry for your losses.

Me and my DH have been ttc for 27 months in total. We got our bfp after 19 months but unfortunately i mc at 6 weeks back in Nov. We are still waiting for our rainbow baby. I'm not someone who expected it to happen straight away but over 2 years later since we started ttc i thought we would be parents by now.

Aww u sound so similar to me. I hope u get your rainbow soon and get to be parents

Mrsbroodypants - i'm so so sorry to hear of your loss xxx i was so happy to see you got your long awaited BFP and to hear this news makes me so sad  xx

So sorry to all you ladies who have suffered a loss xxx

I am not sure that I can put myself here. But after almost 6 years unprotected sex me and my hubby last month saw our positive test. Unfortunately, it was chemical pregnancy :(. We still are trying to overcome it.

Good luck to all of you.

I became pregnant in 2005 and miscarried. No BFP since then. I actually didn't start ttc until 2011. Couldn't understand why BFP never came. So in 2012 went to doc and tests were done. Found out I wasn't ovulating and was placed on Clomid for 2 months. I did ovulate with 50 mg only to be taken off it after month 2 due to tubes being block (or so I was told). After a constant back and forth with my regular OBGYN telling me he would do surgery and then saying he dont do the surgery he finally referred me to a fertility specialist. My first appointment was yesterday and I can't believe how encouraged and powerful I felt after leaving the appointment. The staff is amazing and the doc was amazing explaining everything and making sure I understood by having me repeat what he just explained. Well I found out the HSG test was able to unblock one tube. His test showed I have a retroverted uterus which will not effect conception. Both ovaries are good. I do have 3 fibroids but nothing to be concerned about. I go back on Friday for more tests and to get results of tests they did. I also will have to do ovulation tests to see if I am ovulating. I also found out (which I think my OBGYN should have known this) is that since I have a 24-25 day cycle if I did ovulate it would be around cycle day 11 or 12 since I have short cycles. Sorry for the long post. Just want all ladies to keep their faith and to say stand up for yourself and always get a second opinion especially if the doc doesn't seem to really care. Sending baby dust to all of you.

I am so sorry for everyone's losses. We are definitely not alone. We got our first positive after just over two years of trying and on our 4th IUI attempt, but sadly had a confirmed ectopic yesterday. It really is a horrible reality, but there is a glimmer of hope still in me that someday we will have a family.

I was in a similar situation. We started TTC back in 2008, fell pregnant after a couple of months but had a MMC. Started trying again straight after. We literally tried every single month. I have very regular 28 day cycles. Got my next BFP exactly a year later but that was a chemical. We then started trying straight away once again and it took another 2 years. So about 3.5 years in all and that was trying every single month. But it eventually happened for us and then it only took one month to fall pregnant this time. I remember people telling me that they'd been in the same boat as me, it had taken them ages to fall pregnant but they'd got there in the end and I used to always think I'd never be that lucky. But I was. I hope this gives you some hope and that you get your BFP soon xxx
