Been looking into getting a few doublers and they just seem silly expensive to me for a strip of cloth! :dohh:

Anyone made their own? If so, what material did you use?

TIA!

Yeah, the cloth strips that go into pocket dipes to boost absorbancy.

Terry in the middle and fleece on the outer? How many layers?

I just bought some cheap microfibre cleaning cloths from Tesco (normal supermarket in the UK). I was going to sew them into proper booster shapes but then decided not to so I can fold them to whatever size is right for the nappy. It was 83p for 3 I think and each one adds about an hour extra time to a nappy. They're really thin too.

i use microfibre cloths aswell but when i want to be posh and make matching ones for my nappies, i use half a terry square, folded up into 4, then i sew a fleece liner the same material as the nappy im making it for on the top, so it can be folded flat for drying but adds a lot of absorbancy, and looks cuteee too :D

I bought a pile of microfiber hand towels at Dollar Tree and just folded them to size :)
