Anyone not ovulate clomid cycle 1 then go on to ovulate?

Hello ladies,

I finsihed an abnormally short cycle (24 days) on clomid I am usually 28-30 days. I was told from bloods that I didn;t ovulate and actually my blood test a year and half ago was borderline yet at the time I was told everything was normal

Anyway I paid for a private scan during the month and on cd14 I had a 19mm and 14mm follie and some really small ones but then no ovulation

Was wondering if anyone has had a similiar problem and then gone on to ovulate later or on a higher does? I had already started my second cycle before my appointment so I am getting bloodwork cd 17 cd21 and if no ovulation 100 mg.

Does nayone have any advice or tips? (I dont have pcos)

I have no experience yet but have read that it happens quite a lot, sometimes the body takes time to adjust and sometimes the dose is too low
